Let’s walk through our seamless implant process—designed to give you a smile you’ll love for a lifetime.
This involves taking a 3D scan of the patient’s mouth using a digital scanner and a CBCT 3D imaging of the patient’s bone. These are then used to create a detailed 3D virtual model of the patient’s mouth and bone on a computer.
This model is used to plan the exact placement of the dental implants.
Once the pre-operative plan is complete, the patient is ready for the surgical procedure. The surgeon will use the 3D model to guide them in placing the dental implants in the jawbone in the most accurate position based on the preplanning.
After the dental implants are placed, the patient will need to be monitored closely to ensure proper healing and integration with the jawbone.
Once the pre-operative plan is complete, the patient is ready for the surgical procedure. The surgeon will use the 3D model to guide them in placing the dental implants in the jawbone in the most accurate position based on the preplanning.
Your dentist will recommend a homecare routine to ensure optimal oral health, and a smile that lasts a lifetime. You’ll continue with your regular checkups and cleanings as prescribed.
Meet our advanced technology tools
Cone beam CT
A Cone-beam CT provides a three-dimensional image of the jawbone, teeth, and oral anatomy determining the exact position of teeth and their root. CBCT imaging also identifies oral conditions which are not detectable by regular X-ray screenings. Digital radiographs emit up to 70 percent less radiation than traditional X-rays and are more environmentally friendly. Your CBCT will ensure accuracy in designing and placing your dental implants.
Digital impressions using Itero
Instead of using the traditional goopy impression materials, a wand-shaped camera the size of a toothbrush magnifies images of the mouth on a computer screen in real time. This enables patients to clearly see what the dentist is doing or referring to. The intra-oral camera can access concealed areas in the mouth revealing a detailed view of areas otherwise hidden. The digital impression can also be printed via a 3D printer. The scans can later be used by the dentist and dental laboratory to plan the surgical procedure and the restoration. These high-tech cameras optimize your comfort and the predictability of your clinical results.
Computer aided design and 3D printing
Computer-aided design and 3D printing have made the design and manufacture of dental restorations more efficient. Traditionally, a dental laboratory would make the restoration in a process that could take up to 3 weeks. Advanced technologies allow dentists to design, fabricate, and insert dental restorations on the very same day. This 3D printing process means no downtime without teeth; in most cases, you’ll leave with your new (temporary) smile on the same day as your procedure.
