I been coming to Dental Arts for a few years and was a skeptical about returning since my regular hygienist had moved on but my experience was super. I was knowledge right of way as I entered the office, making me feel welcomed. Jannette was down to earth , I feel I like knew her already. She did a fantastic job with the cleaning. The entire team was fantastic.

They don’t just see you as a number, but as family which means they go above and beyond.Dr. Daphne Benedit is one in a million. It’s like coming home to a family reunion seeing everyone you love with grandma there greeting you with a smile that lights up the room, that’s Dr. Benedit. My mother came in for an extensive procedure and even though she didn’t have to, she called weeks in to make sure my mother was doing well with her care. Usually with dentist you feel pain and discomfort, I can truly say that Dr. Benedit truly loves her job and it shows in every smile that walks out of that office. At our practice, we understand that cavities and other damage to your teeth can cause discomfort, pain, and other issues. That’s why we offer dental filling services to help restore your teeth and give you back your healthy, beautiful smile.

What is a Dental Filling?

A dental filling is a procedure that involves placing a material in a cavity or on the surface of a tooth to restore its function and structure. This material is usually a composite resin that matches the color of your teeth. The composite resin is applied in layers, dried, and polished for the most natural-looking finish.

Why Would I Need a Dental Filling?

Dental fillings can be used to repair teeth that have been damaged by cavities, chips, cracks, or fractures. Dental fillings can also be used to replace old or worn fillings or to fill in spaces between teeth.

What is the Procedure for a Dental Filling?

The procedure for a dental filling typically takes one or two visits to our office. During your first visit, we will clean the area around the tooth to be filled and then apply a local anesthetic to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. We will then use a drill to remove the decayed area, clean the area, and prepare it for the filling. Once the area is prepared, we will apply the composite resin in layers, dry it, and polish it. During your second visit, we will check the filling to make sure it fits properly and that it looks natural. We may need to make some adjustments to the filling if necessary.

At our practice, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality of care. If you have any questions about dental fillings, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to helping you restore your smile!
